You're a loser, Mr. Bush.
I Question Your Patriotism, Mr. Bush
Steven Black
I question your patriotism Mr. Bush. I question it on your own
terms. In a crass manner typical of your vacuous personality, you held up
to praise a mother who has lost no children in your senseless war. You
singled her out as a slap in the face of the grieving woman who did lose her son
to your bad judgment and who demands an opportunity to re-question you on your
senseless war. Speaking of Mrs. Pruett, you said, "Tammy has four sons serving in Iraq right now with the Idaho National Guard: Eric, Evan, Greg and Jeff. Last year her husband, Leon, and another son, Aaron, returned from Iraq, where they helped train Iraqi firefighters in Mosul."
Mr. Bush, I ask you, do you have two daughters of fighting age? You do, do
you not? What are they doing right now? Have any of them risked
their lives for your senseless war? Is there a snowball's chance in hell
that either of them will?
Mr. Bush, during the Vietnam War, another American went off to fight in your
stead. Perhaps he died. He went because you used your father's
influence to avoid fighting in Vietnam. While other Americans were dying
in a foreign land, I believe you were drunk driving and snorting cocaine.
Yes, Mr. Bush, I do question your patriotism.
What were you doing to protect Americans from terrorism before the attacks of
September 11, 2001, Mr. Bush? Isn't it true that they died because you
failed, once again, to defend your country when you were needed? As
thousands of Americans were brutally murdered, Mr. Bush, you were listening to
children's stories in front of a classroom of children. When the horror of
horrors was committed against American citizens and when it was your
responsibility to do something about it, you sat and continued to listen to
children's stories, even though you knew what was happening. While
thousands of Americans were falling from the sky and dying upon the ground, you
sat there and looked stupid. I question your patriotism, Mr. Bush.
You see, while you were sitting there, stupid-faced in front of classroom of
children, the rest of us were either dying, trying to rescue the dying, or
crying in helplessness. You, however, just sat there with your stupid
face. I think that says a lot.
And while the rest of us were wondering what would happen next on that
September 11, you were running chicken from one military bunker to
another. I question your manhood, Mr. Bush.
You took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, Mr. Bush.
Hardly a day passes when I do not hear of another assault on the Constitution by
you and your administration Mr. Bush. I question your honor.
Most of all, Mr. Bush, I question your sanity. Before the attacks of
9/11, you stated to those on your staff that you would go to war against
Iraq. After 9/11, you blamed Iraq for 9/11 and claimed that Iraq played a
hand in the attacks, despite the fact that your own CIA stated otherwise.
You then claimed that Iraq held weapons of mass destruction in violation of its
agreements. It turns out that Iraq did not hold such weapons. When
the evidence that Iraq held no such weapons was presented, you acknowledged that
Iraq had no such weapons only later to inexplicably reverse your position.
Face it Mr. Bush, you are either a liar or you are insane. In either case,
you are not qualified to be President of the United States.
Mr. Bush, you have stated that we are bringing freedom to Iraqis.
That's interesting. You see, before your illegal invasion Iraq was a
secular state. Under your military dictatorship, Iraq now plans to embrace
an Islamist constitution. Could you please explain to us how that
represents an advancement in the freedom for Iraqis? What about Iraqi
women, Mr. Bush? Will they too be freer under your puppet government?
Before your illegal invasion, Mr. Bush, you pointed out that Saddam's prisons
were horrific places of rape and torture. According to the photos we've
seen (photos taken by American soldiers in Iraq), your own prisons in Iraq are
horrific places of rape, torture and murder. How has the death of
America's young improved the freedom of Iraqis, Mr. Bush? Once again, you
are either a liar or you are insane. Perhaps you are both. One
thing, however, is clear. You are no patriot Mr. Bush. In fact, you
are not even a man. You are a spoiled child squandering the lives of our
children.
I question your patriotism, Mr. Bush.
